This is located on the Neva River. This is palaces where it makes sense, right? The square which the palace is located palace square.
6. The Church of the Savior – Top Things to Do in St. Petersburg
Next up on our sightseeing tour of st. Petersburg is the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood. Built between 1883 and 1907, it was on the site where Emperor Alexander II was actually fatally wounded. There are more people here than that in Moscow. It is so beautiful inside. The hard work again. One thing that I’ve noticed here at Saint Petersburg, which I found while we were in Moscow they weren’t really using a lot of blue, it’s more like gold and red and greens. But here, blue! I was just saying how exciting it is that we can actually film and take photos inside the cathedral because normally we can’t.
5. Canals Sightseeing on Neva River – Top Things to Do in St. Petersburg
We are going through all the various canals because St. Petersburg is kind of like the Venice of Russia. There are a lot of canals and waterways and obviously. We’re starting at the Fabrege Museum, and will be cutting up and going through all the other sites that out tour the Neva.
4. Peter and Paul Fortress – Top Things to Do in St. Petersburg
There is a lot of things to see and do here, so we’re gonna kind of pick and choose some of them. I like to use the audio guide sometimes and now it is raining, so we are gonna go inside and explore the museum. This is all about the history of Peter and Paul’s fortress, like old-school engineer plan. Good to know that they plan this stuff back then.
3. Hermitage Museum – Top Things to Do in St. Petersburg
We’re gonna be exploring the various art exhibits. There’s a lot to see and do here. There are over three million pieces of art in this museum. There’re so many rooms. We’re still working our way to the museum we’ve done maybe a tenth. I feel like it’s more like one-twentieth of the museum because I don’t think we’ve done a hundred rooms so you’ve not done a hundred resumes fifty and it just keeps I’ve never been in a place like this before. They all connect.
